sunny days, memories made and quiet moments shared

This morning started off with a beautiful run with our friend/tour guide/driver, Tezz. I thought Saskatchewan had gradual hills that never ended. I don't think this run had any flat parts but it was perfect. It felt so good to get out and run again!
And on the positive...our kids slept right until I got back!

Josh had to do the first part of our home affairs paperwork. After our run, Josh headed out with Tezz to pick up yet another pile of paperwork. This paperwork is to apply for Ezri's unabridged birth certificate. We will be dropping this paperwork off on Friday. Then we are in the waiting game for our citizenship before we can apply for her passport.

While he was out I had fun with my littles on the deck and just enjoyed the beautiful weather. Had a bit of a photo shoot and just enjoyed watching them interact with each other and seeing Ezri delight in the small things while Solomon rode is super cool motorbike!

Aren't they beautiful!

best friends in the making...

Once Josh returned, Solomon was so excited to go swimming. It was a beautiful sunny day, the sun was shining on the pool and Solomon couldn't wait to do his "cannon ball" into the water. So we all got suited up and braved the freezing cold pool! Ezri LOVES the water and is just a little fish! She loves to splash, throw whatever she can find into the water and "swim" in the water.

The day today was a quiet one. We enjoyed our family time. We enjoyed our time with our friends, Jon, Alanna and their little guy Theodore. We enjoyed the sunshine. We enjoyed going on an "adventure" as Solomon likes to describe our walks :). I asked him what he found on his adventure with daddy and he said "I found the yellow car" (This is Jon and Alanna's rental)

We ended our evening off with some family colouring and stickers. Solomon learned how to draw his very own happy faces and people. He was so proud!!

It was a perfect day!!

be blessed...
