family camping trip

Josh had the last week off of work and its has been a WONDERFUL week! I love having my husband home and Solomon LOVES having his daddy home. He isn't going to know what to do with himself on Wednesday when daddy goes back to work. 

While Josh was home we had some time away as a family, tenting for the first time for Solomon and our first time with a toddler! Besides all the insane mosquitos / black flies we had a great time! Here are a few pictures to sum up our trip!

summer life...

I love summer.....
I used to be an all seasons kind of girl but in the last little while I have decided that I could live somewhere warm all year long! I might miss the beautiful trees in the fall and the pretty frosted trees in the winter and even the flowers blooming in the spring but I still could live somewhere warm :)

Things I love about summer:

Being outside and enjoying the warmth.

Going for walks, bike rides and runs.

Eating delicious ice-cream.

Enjoying all the festivals that Saskatoon has to offer.

Going camping and enjoying the outdoors.

Loving watching my son discover and explore our backyard.

Heading to play parks with friends.

Reading out on my deck while my babe snoozes.

Starting to learn more about gardening.

Wearing flip flops everywhere.

and so much more....

It is so much fun being a mom during this season with the little explorer I have and I am looking forward to so much adventure this summer with my family!
