One hand count down...

So I can officially count down on 1 hand! 5 days until we fly out of Saskatoon and head to 4 different airports over the course of 3 days and 1 night layover! It has been a whirl wind month and it is almost over with the end in sight to meet our little boy! We can not wait to hold him, kiss him, play with him and love him!!!

Even though this week is busy, don't forget about the closet sale I am hosting on Wednesday evening to help bring home our gorgeous little boy!
When: Wednesday, September 25 @ 6:00-9:00pm
What: A garage sale inside my home with some bigger ticket items! And don't forget snacks, drinks and some great visiting!
Why: To help with some costs that are needed to bring home Solomon Owami our son!

In 17 days I get to share pictures with you! Until that day imagine the cutest little boy with eyebrows full of expression!

All for Solomon

The last 3 weeks have gone by very fast and we are feeling so blessed by everyone's gifts, support, prayers, blessings etc. This little boy will be growing up in a community of prayer and love!

We have been able to Skype with our son now and he is so adorable. The most beautiful smile ever and a very contagious giggle! Tonight as Josh and I were out on our last movie date before becoming official parents, we were talking about how we miss our son already and we can't wait to hold him. That day is coming so fast and we are so excited to be getting ready to pack, figure out our technology, do some last minute things on our house and try a last minute fundraiser to help bring home our Son! Which brings me to my next point.

On Wednesday, September 25 @6:00pm I will be hosting a "closet sale".
This is a garage sale but will be inside my home with quite a few different items which include house decor, kitchen, clothes/shoes, jewellery etc. There are 2 bigger priced items but are still more than half off from the store!
These items are a Matt and nat bag and a lulu lemon bunny hug in great condition!

There will also be snacks and beverages so if you want to come and hang out for an evening I would love to see you or you can even drop by, look around and take a snack to go! Bring friends and family with you!

I look forward to being able to share more with all of you once we can!! Only 2 days of work and 10 days of preparation before we leave and 15 days until we meet our son for the very first time!!! Can't believe we are going to be parents!
Thanks for reading and if you are unable to make it to our "Closet Sale" but are interested in supporting us financially we do have a donate button on our blog. Thank you for all of your prayers, thoughts, love and support!
Be Blessed!

Whirlwind with blessings everywhere!

These next few weeks are some busy ones! I have 10 days left of work, 21 days until we fly half way across the world to meet our son and so much to do in that time!

Flights are booked, accommodations are booked and we start our week off with seeing our son move for the first time with a skype date! Over the moon excited....and a little nervous :)

Last night we had the opportunity to have our pictures taken by Mela-Art photography and we are so excited to see what she captured! We had small pieces of our son involved too and look forward to taking family pictures so very soon!

Just a small update as to where we are at! Looking forward to sharing more as our story unfolds.

Be blessed as you begin a new week! Continue to look for blessings in each day!

I keep saying over and over that we have a son. It still seems quite surreal but so amazing.

I will post more later but his picture will stay anonymous until our court date!
